Coventry

Coventry has a population of approx 309,000 and is located to the South East of Solihull. The City is surrounded by Warwickshire to the North, South and East and is closely linked to Warwickshire on a number of issues, the recently rebuilt University Hospital taking patients from Coventry and Warwickshire.

There are approx 123,000 residential properties in Coventry, of which approx 70% are owner occupied.

Coventry has moved forward from the industrial base of the 20th Century and has a variety of new industries, but still has some of the older employers such as the Jaguar Research complex.

The City Centre contains modern shops, the newer Coventry Cathedral and the ruins of the old Cathedral, both carrying the message of peace and reconciliation.

Coventry has a railway station on the West Coast Main Line giving a ninety minute link to the Capital, every half hour during the working day.
